Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades register their marriage in intimate Goa ceremony

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and South African model and fashion entrepreneur Gabriella Demetriades have officially registered their marriage in Goa. The couple completed their legal wedding formalities on Friday afternoon at the Sub-Registrar’s office in Mapusa, North Goa, surrounded by a close circle of friends.

Opting for an understated and intimate ceremony, Arjun and Gabriella arrived at the registrar's office around 4 pm dressed in relaxed, casual attire. The marriage was registered under Goa’s Uniform Civil Code. According to Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar, the couple obtained special permission from the local court’s Assistant Public Prosecutor to condone the statutory 15-day waiting period between the first and second signatures, with their official marriage certificate set to be issued in a fortnight.

The milestone marks a joyful chapter in their eight-year relationship, which began in 2018. Arjun and Gabriella, who currently reside in Succoro village near Panaji, are parents to two young sons, Arik and Ariv. The couple previously confirmed their engagement during an appearance on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, where Arjun surprised viewers by announcing: “We are engaged... We just broke it on your show.”

Gabriella has also openly spoken about her warm rapport with Arjun’s daughters, Mahikaa and Myra, from his previous marriage to former model Mehr Jesia. Reflecting on their modern family dynamic, Gabriella shared: “They have been amazing through everything. We never had to tell them, 'Oh, you have to respect Gabriella'. They have a relationship with me. If they like me as a friend, that is great. We were very clear that there's no pressure on them and let them settle into a nice rhythm.”

With their legal union now complete, Arjun and Gabriella continue to celebrate their private, family-centred life together on the Goan coast.
