Indian cricket fans on social media had a reason to get silly over the weekend, over a reported gesture by actor Anushka Sharma, who is in the UK giving company to husband and cricketer Virat Kohli, as he leads Team India in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup.
The actor was seen cheering for the Indian team from the stands as India won against Sri Lanka, and was reportedly spotted enquiring with one of the friends about the designated umpire's signal for a four.
As the clip went viral, cricket fans on Twitter got themselves a good laugh over the incident.
The video in question shows Anushka in a mustard jumpsuit asking one of her fellow fans, “Is this a four signal?”
Among many other messages on social media, one fan wrote, 'Wife of Indian Cricket team Captain' with a folded hands emoji.
Another tweet read, 'Wife of best cricketer in the world', while yet another user wrote, 'Kohli ko sahi biwi mili hai. (Kohli has got the right kind of wife)'.
Earlier, before the match, Anushka and Virat were seen strolling in the city, dressed in matching white ensembles.
They also shared a few candid pictures of their fun moments on Instagram, as Anushka shared a pic with the caption, 'Seal the silly moments', and Virat made a funny face for the camera.
