From customised shampoos to natural masks, Bare Anatomy takes haircare to the next level

If you have been struggling with hair woes, thanks to humidity or stress, maybe it is time to try cleansers and conditioners that are tailormade for your tresses. Be it reducing dandruff or just addressing lack of shine, shampoos, conditioners, masks and serums crafted to suit your needs might help your hair heal from all the duress it suffers from. In sync with that idea Gurgaon-based Bare Anatomy does just that — it offers an array of bespoke haircare solutions that are created taking into account weather conditions of the place that you live in, your lifestyle, diet and the condition of your tresses.
Started a few months ago by Rohit Chawla and Sifat Khurana, they conducted thorough research at their lab to choose ingredients that are natural, vegan and cruelty-free. The shampoos have around 50 elements in them. Rohit lets us in on what they use. For instance, in situations where the scalp is dry or itchy, he picks shea butter and aloe vera to address the concerns. There are a few things to keep in mind before you take your pick. “The first step is to take a quick quiz on our website and answer specific questions on which their specific formula will be based,” he informs while speaking to us over the phone. Choose about three hair goals and make it clear about the kind of fragrance they want or not want at all. The brand is currently set to launch more products in the customised line in the coming weeks. “What we have in store are new hair masks —Morrocan and Argan Oil,” says Rohit, adding that they are also perfecting the formulas for a few deeply moisturising hair conditioners, which is slated for launch before the drying winter sets in.
