Salman Khan's alleged love interest, Romanian actor Iulia Vantur's debut film, Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kala's poster was launched this week. It also stars actor Jimmy Shergill in an important role.
The film is produced by Arjun N Kapoor and Prernaa Arora, who had produced films like Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padman and Pari. The producers are collaborating with producer Kashish Khan to form Studio 5 Elements that will be involved in production, acquisitions, distribution and digital platform activities of Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kala.
Producer Prernaa syas, "My partners and I at Studio 5 Elements are happy to have Iulia Vântur and Jimmy Shergill on board for Radhu Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala. The film will awaken a lot of minds towards the love and warmth that this country has to offer. It's deep rooted in Indian culture and will soon go on floors."
Iulia who makes a debut with this film is quite excited to bag the lead role. She says, "When I came to India. I didn't aim to become an actor. But life has it’s own mysterious ways and I enjoy its challenges as well. My passion has always been towards singing and I have sung some songs here to keep the passion alive. The movie was offered to me because I fit the character of a foreign woman well."
Further talking about the script and the role she will portray, the actress reveals, "The script showcases the love for Indian culture, which is something I truly connect with and I respect. It is a humbling experience to be part of a movie that addresses a strong social issue that India is facing today."
The story deals with gender issue and Prem R Soni, the director throws more light on this. "While people are courageously coming out with their #MeToo stories, we are making a film that is very close to the issue and addresses it. Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala tackles problems like these that continue to plague our country and how a common man brings about a revolution."
