 Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival kicked off today

The 10th edition of AKLF was inaugurated in the presence of Anita Ratnam, Coonoor Kripalani, Indrani Dasgupta Paul and Priti Paul, the Director Apeejay Surendra Group among others

The 10th edition of Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival kicked off from Allen Park in Park Street, with danseuse Anita Ratnam, Coonoor Kripalani, author of bilingual books, Indrani Dasgupta Paul, Kabir Anand Paul, Priti Paul, Director Apeejay Surendra Group and others. The guest of honour was, the little Uma Kismat Paul. With the release of the balloons, the festival was declared opened. Commenting on the festival Priti Paul said, “It’s been wonderful 10 years. Kolkata is the cultural capital of India and with this festival we are just asserting that.” 

The launch was followed by a yoga session for kids conducted by Coonoor Kripalani. A scintillating contemporary dance performance choreographed by Tanusuree Shankar paved the way for the sessions to begin.
