Avik Chanda, the author of Footnotes, From Command to Empathy and Anchor is set to launch his latest book Dara Shukoh… The Man Who Would Be King at Starmark bookstore.  The story chronicles Dara Shukoh, the emperor Shah Jahan's favourite son, and heir-apparent to the Mughal throne prior to being defeated by Aurangzeb. Believed to be an effete prince, Avik here brings to life the story of this enigmatic Mughal prince, who in many ways was ahead of his times, with rich historical details and psychological insights.

Being launched in association with HarperCollins India, the event will see an engaging conversation with Shahanshah Mirza and Anthony Khatchaturian.
