Los Angeles, Sep 3 (IANS): Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is all set to walk down the aisle for the third time after he reportedly got engaged to girlfriend Debbie Gwyther.

The rock legend proposed to Debbie while they were on a vacation in Italy, according to a report.

A source said that Debbie was "still in shock that Liam has finally popped the question", although marriage has been on the cards for a while now.

"The couple are hoping to tie the knot next year and Liam wants his kids by his side on the big day," the source added.

Liam was previously married to Patsy Kensit and Nicole Appleton. He has four children, Molly, 21, with ex-partner songwriter Lisa Moorish, Lennon, 19, with Patsy, Gene, 17, with Nicole, and Gemma, six, with American journalist Liza Ghorbani.

The rockstar recently posted a loved-up photograph with Debbie on Instagram. "Behind every guru there's another great guru," he captioned the image.
