Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan have split after nine years of being together. The couple have a four-year-old daughter Everly Tatum.

The couple broke the news on Twitter on Monday night and have decided to "lovingly separate as a couple". The couple said they found it necessary to tell everyone and didn't want "alternative facts" to spread about their separation. Tatum, however, said in the post that the split wasn't a result of any secrets or salacious events but had simply realised their relationship had run its course.

Interestingly, the two actors met on the sets of 'Step Up' where the 37-year-old Channing Tatum shot to fame. Among many other movies, the actors most popular movies are the G.I. Joe series, 21 Jump Street and Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.
