Ed Sheeran’s talent knows no bounds as the record-breaking singer now goes to Springfield. After his cameos in The Game of Thrones, Bridget Jones’s Baby and Home Away From Home, the 26-year-old British singer will now ‘appear’ in The Simpsons. A trailer for an upcoming episode, released in an ad on Fox channel, of the animated sitcom, gives us a first look of Ed lending his voice to Lisa’s love interest, Brandon.
The episode, called Haw Haw Land, takes a dig at the 2016 dance musical La La Land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Expect to watch the crooner try to impress Lisa with his music causing a love triangle with her boyfriend Nelson Muntz. The animated show has previously included cameos from the likes of Anne Hathaway, Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz and Snoop Dogg.
2017 was a good year for the star as he released his record-breaking album and embarked on a world tour, despite an arm injury. Ed’s cameo will air later this week as a part of the 29th season of The Simpsons.
