The first pictures of star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding in Lake Como were finally released yesterday. Ever since then, fashion experts have begun a detail investigation of the couple's wedding look.
According to reports by leading fashion magazines, Padukone, a Sabyasachi bride, wore a decadent red Sabyasachi lehenga for the Anand Karaj ceremony whereas Ranveer Singh opted for a vermillion brocade sherwani
The bride wore an embroidered veil that bore an incantation- ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ on the border in Devnagri. (which roughly translates to ‘may you always stay married’).
Padukone accessorised her lehenga with a maang tikka, traditional kalire, a statement nose ring and several rings, and Ranveer Singh sported strings of large emeralds, and a jadau necklace.
For her Konkani wedding ceremony, the actor chose a gold Kanchipuram silk sari by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Ranveer Singh picked a white and gold kurta dhoti set.
