Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted with daughter Aaradhya, who was dressed in a sari for a school annual function on Friday. Now, a video has emerged in which  Aaradhya making a bid for women's empowerment and safety.

In the monologue, Aaradhya says, “I am Kanya, I am the dream, the dream of a new age. We will awake in the new world, a world where I will be safe. I will be loved. I will be respected. A world where my voice will not be silenced by the ignorance of arrogance but will be heard with the understanding of wisdom. A world where knowledge will become from the book of life, flowing freely to the river of humanity.”

Also in attendance was Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who took to Twitter to react to his grand daughter's performance. He tweeted, “The pride of the family .. the pride of a girl .. the pride of all women .. OUR dearest AARADHYA.” Looks like the whole family is proud of the 8-year-old star kid for her confidence and conviction on the stage.
