Designer Vera Wang, who presented her latest collection at New York Fashion Week, shared a photo of herself on Instagram. The photo at the centre of the row shows the designer on set of the rehearsal for the runway show. Soon, she was criticised in the comments for being 'too thin'.

While one bluntly said she 'needs to eat more', another said she's 'skinny'. There were quite a few comments body shaming her.

However, her fans fought back and defended her. One fan said: 'I think you need to not body shame for starters and who the heck are you anyway? Her friend? No! You're some random on the internet.'

Another posted: 'It’s none of our business. Speculating about this is really rude.'

Meanwhile, her S/S 2020 collection received a great response at NYFW.
