The jury at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, headed by actor Russell Crowe, voted unanimously to award Dangal with the Best Asian Film award. The Aamir Khan-starrer was up against eight other films including the two Indian films Pink and Kaasav: Turtle.
