The latest superhero movie from the Marvel Universe is Venom. However, the movie will not be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but will be the first from Sony’s Marvel Universe. Joe Russo, director of Marvel's Avengers Infinity War confirmed that Venom would not be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The full teaser which released late last week is quite unlike other staple superhero movies and has an anti-hero in it. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the movie stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom in the lead whose character is a journalist and the host of an alien symbiote. Michelle Williams will play Ann Weying, Eddie's girlfriend. Venom hits the theatre on October 5.
