Drishyam: The Conclusion is the official title of the third instalment in the Drishyam franchise, as Ajay Devgn announced on Monday morning. This will be the end of Vijay Salgaonkar's story, as the name makes it clear.
Ajay revealed the movie's first poster on social media, breaking the news himself. Only half of his face is visible in the picture, along with a solitary, unblinking eye and the phrase "Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai," which serves as the character's motto. For a man who has spent two films evading the authorities to protect his loved ones, it's an appropriate mission statement. Drishyam: The Conclusion is set to arrive in theatres on October 2, 2026.
Director Abhishek Pathak returns to steer the finale. Ajay steps back into Vijay Salgaonkar's shoes one final time, joined by Tabu reprising her role as IG Meera Deshmukh — the officer whose personal vendetta against Vijay has driven much of the franchise's tension — and Shriya Saran returning as Nandini. Rajat Kapoor is also back in the fold. Joining the story for the first time are Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat, both stepping into new roles that are expected to raise the stakes for this closing chapter. Filming wrapped some time ago, and the project is now deep in post-production ahead of its October release.
Ajay's version of Drishyam became a franchise in its own right after the original 2015 film went well, earning almost INR 110 crore globally. Not only did the 2022 sequel expand on it, but it almost tripled it, earning approximately INR 342 crore worldwide at the end of its theatrical run. That trajectory has fans expecting the finale to be the franchise's biggest theatrical event yet.
While Ajay's Hindi version is preparing to close its story for good, the original Malayalam franchise — starring Mohanlal as the character's namesake, Georgekutty — is doing the opposite. Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph released their own Drishyam 3 back in May 2026, and it became the biggest entry in that series to date, crossing ₹242 crore worldwide off a ₹43.37 crore opening.
