There's a chance you didn't know that acclaimed novelist and literary critic Amit Chaudhuri is also an experimental jazz artiste and has in fact, played across the globe and had his work featured on flagship culture programmes on television and radio in the UK, including the Review Show (BBC 2), Late Junction (Radio 3), and Loose Ends (Radio 4).

Chaudhuri will go live with his band this Saturday at Skinny Mo's Jazz Club, along with Prasenjit Ghosal on guitar, Sushen Saha on keyboard and Ashok Mukherjee on tabla. Don't sit this one out. Tickets: Rs 300
