British Council is hosting Chennai-based photographer Balaji Maheshwar for a talk and exhibition of his recent work called Talkies. The series of photographs capture long-standing cinema halls and depict
nostalgia. Balaji is known for his work in social and personal photography and is currently working on a full-length documentary film about Tamil cinema.
