Amethyst is hosting an exhibition of Artisan-to-Artisan Design by Somaiya Kaxla Vidya of handwoven saris and stoles by the weavers of Bagalkot and Kutch among others. From Uttarakand and Kutch to Karnataka and the mountains, the handlooms are from all parts of India. The new collection is a collaboration of 19 artists, which combines textures of fine cotton, bamboo, mulberry tassar and muga silk.
