Isn't home our safe haven where we look forward to going at the end of a long day at work? Small or big, cramped or palatial, it is a place full of memories and objects that have been collected over the years and something that we call our own. Yet, there are millions whose homes have been rendered unsafe for no fault of theirs. After being forced to flee, they embark on a journey to far-flung corners of the world in search of a new place to be and belong.
Titled Being and Belonging, the new chapter of Reading in the Shed in collaboration with Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai features some of the stories of these refugees.
