Over 4,00,000 people have pledged to storm Area 51 to see the ‘aliens’ inside!

The internet is going bonkers over the famed restricted area. Again.

Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us—reads an event title on Facebook.

The event slated for September 20 claims, “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let's see them aliens.”

Likely a prank that started deep in the internet’s sphincter, possibly 4chan, the event is now gaining traction at a global level. Participants have unleashed a barrage of memes that have gone viral.

What’s really happening?

Area 51 is a top-secret American military airbase, that reportedly tests advanced flight and other kinds of weaponised tech. Several stealth aircrafts have allegedly been developed in this space and since some of them are not easily recognised by the common man—talks of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and alien crash landings have emerged.

Since the American authorities have completely restricted access, and only officially acknowledged its existence in 2013, the conspiracy theories have quadrupled over the decades.
