Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo, on Monday, launched the much-awaited Marvel anthem composed by AR Rahman. The music video shows Rahman singing to a crowd of young people, alongside a group of percussionists.
Talking about the Indian anthem composed by AR Rahman, Russo said, "I got goosebumps when Rahman played the song to me last night. Though not in English, it represents the spirit of films in a way you can't express in words."
The video of the Hindi anthem was also shared on Marvel India's Twitter handle with the caption, "Here's something special for all you amazing Marvel India fans! Presenting the #MarvelAnthem created by the maestro @arrahman." Retweeting the news, Rahman promised that the Tamil and Telugu versions of the anthem will also be out soon.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame will be released on April 26 in 2D, IMAX and 3D formats in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film will feature the final battle between the Avengers group of superheroes and the supervillain Thanos (Josh Brolin) after he decimated half their team in the previous film, Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
