After the successful Geetha Govindham, actors Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are coming back together for Dear Comrade.
The trailer released today and looks like the two are back in an intense love story. The three-minute-long trailer has Vijay shown playing a fiery student leader in college, which reminds us of the aggressive doctor he played in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Arjun Reddy. Rashmika plays the role of a state cricketer in this film.
During the trailer, you can’t ignore their adorable chemistry, similar to Geetha Govindham. Apart from the love story, the film is also set to have a student politics angle. The trailer has scenes from the past and present, and also shows Vijay on a journey on his motorbike in the hills.
Dear Comrade is rumoured to be loosely adapted from Dulquer Salmaan’s Malayalam movie CIA. However, there has been no official confirmation. The film is set to release on July 26.
