Valentine's Day brings with it a number of cliches - flowers, candy, teddy bears, Netflix and Chill, Amazon Prime and Sexy Time. Whether you are a couple or you're single, there is no way you can simply skip this day, without social media rubbing it in your face that this Hallmark-card festival is being celebrated all over the world. So we're helping out this year, with a list of six offbeat things that brands around the world have on offer this Valentine's Day - for both singles as well as couples! If you're single, in Ahmedabad and a lover of all things chai, then you've probably hit the Holy Trinity of jackpots! According to a Facebook event, MBA Chai Wala, a tea outlet/cafe in the city will be giving out free tea to all singles on Valentine's Day from 7 pm to 10 pm. "Why should couples have all the fun? Singles need pampering too. Hence we'll be serving free chai to singles on Valentine's Day this year," reads their Facebook post. MBA Chai Wala is a cafe in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad that is run by an MBA dropout, Prafull Billore. It serves 35 varieties of tea and snacks to its customers. 

What better time than Valentine's Day to move on? If you're heartbroken and single this February 14, Gastronomica Kitchen & Bar in GK 1, Delhi is offering free shots to all those who come and burn their ex's photos! If pyromania is not an incredibly exciting prospect to look forward to, here's a non-violent option - Hemsley Conservation Centre in South West London allows you to name a cockroach after your ex for as little as Rs 140. All you need to do is fill out a form on their website, and make a payment, after which you will be given an online certificate stating that your roach (named after your ex) is now part of their roach board. Now that's what we call win-win!

Ship is a new app, launched by Match (the parent company to Tinder and Hinge) and it will allow your friends to swipe with you and discuss profiles on a group chat! Once your profile is set up, you can log in and invite your friends to swipe 'for' you or 'with' you. After all, your friends know you better than yourself, don't they? Swiping right has never been more fun, we think! 

Taking the concept of a blind date quite literally, The Westin at Koregaon Park in Pune is offering a unique event this Valentine's Day - Blindfold Conversations at Pune’s The Westin at Koregaon Park. Guests will be blindfolded and seated with a stranger, and will be encouraged to look beyond physical appearances and discover the "person within". At 1,999 per head (includes a buffet dinner later), there are only 50 seats available, so register in advance. On February 13 and 14. 

Valentine's Day is all about spreading the love and Eggspectation, a cutesy American cafe in Dubai is giving out free pancakes to everyone on February 13 and 14. It doesn't matter if you're single or a couple, the offer is open to everyone. Talk about sweet somethings! Savour three of their delicious signature pancakes, topped with heart-shaped fresh strawberries and homemade caramel sauce, at either their JBR or City Walk outlets. Open till midnight. 

If your name is Valentine and you've been bullied all your life because of it, we feel you fam! But now, it might just be the perfect time to thank your parents!
