Bengaluru-based rapper Brodha V drops a new Kannada rap single. The single is his rendition of Maari Kannu, a song from the 1998 cult classic film, A. Brodha V, who used to be a part of the group Machas With Attitude (MWA) with rappers Smokey the Ghost and Big Nikk, says his music is a blend of hip-hop, Hindustani classical, Carnatic classical and Indian folk music. Through this new Kannada single the rapper wants to question society and its values, and calls on people to introspect.
