Pop star Katy Perry dropped her new festive song with a typical Katy Perry-style video. Titled Cozy Little Christmas, the video has 35-year-old sunbathing by a pool in sunny LA, along with Santa Claus himself. The lyrics go, "So, Mr. Santa (Mr. Santa)/Take the day off (take the day off)/Get a massage (get a massage)/ 'Cause we've got this one all under control," as Katy gets a massage from a reindeer.
Katy was recently seen in India performing the One Plus Music Festival with British singer Dua Lipa in Mumbai. Earlier this year, she got engaged to Lord Of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom.
In a recent interview with Indulge, Katy said, “As music is changing and we are digesting it in a different way, it is more fun to put out a song and a video every few months and selfishly that is what artistes love. They don’t necessarily want their songs to get lost in an album only superfans will know the whole album and not everyone else. And, since streaming is such a powerful tool and in a different format than when I started in 2008, we are kind of slowly adapting and going with the flow. Just putting things out like appetisers, that’s how people are ingesting music these days. I am having fun because it gives me a chance to highlight every single song."
In 2019, she has released the songs Harleys in Hawaii, Small Talk and Never Really Over. The singer has been performing since 2001 and is popular for songs such as Roar, I Kissed a Girl and California Gurls.
Perry is also gearing up to release her sixth studio album.
