Gaanam Nair, a Chennai-based model who was missing since Friday, returned home to her relatives. The 28-year-old was suffering from depression when she went missing, says reports. A campaign lauched by her family and friends to find her, went viral and had garnered over 900 Tweets within 24 hours.

Nair, a marketing manager at a salon and a "model at times" as decribed in her Facebook bio, had left for work May 26. Her family began to worry when she never reached her workplace and her cellphone remained not reachable ever since.

Posts on a Facebook profile named Jhikki Padhoo, identified as Nair's, suggests that she recently went through a break up and she reportedly had marriage related issues with her family. Nair's father is based in Delhi and her mother had died a few years ago and she used to live in Chennai with a few relatives.
