Kannada serial actress Rekha Sindhu died in a car accident early today. The actress' car was found at the Chennai-Bangalore national highway.
Reports suggest that the accident happened near Sunnampukuttai, Pernambut. According to reports, her vehicle hit the median and toppled over, killing the actress and three others on the spot.
Others in the vehicle were later on identified as Abhishek Kumaran (22), Jayachandran (23) and Rakshan (20). The actress along with the three co-passengers were taken to the Thriupatthur government hospital, but were declared dead.
Police are investigating the incident and are yet to comment about it.
Rekha Sindhu's funeral will be held tomorrow morning at her Bangalore home.
