The Kapoor siblings - Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan - were on the popular talk show Koffee With Karan Season 6, yesterday.
During her chat with host Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor revealed that she cried after seeing actress Anushka Sharma as a bride. She said this when she was asked to choose who her favourite wedding couple was: Deepika-Ranveer, Anushka-Virat and Priyanka-Nick. She said, “I cannot comment on brides because I thought they all looked very very beautiful in their different amazing ways. Because Anushka's wedding was the first wedding that I saw, I actually cried when I saw her pictures. It was very beautiful. Her sister, Rhea added, “I really liked Anushka. I genuinely felt happy for her.”
Anushka married cricketer Virat Kohli in a private affair in Italy. Sonam too tied the knot with her longtime beau Anand Ahuja, this year.
On the professional front, Sonam will be seen sharing the screen space for her father Anil Kapoor in the movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga. The film, directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles.
