Talented Bollywood actor Aditi Rao Hydari has been in the film industry for a while now and with every movie, she has proved her acting skills, without a doubt. However, like all other things, the industry and viewers aren’t easy to deal with. In an interview with a leading publication, the actor revealed that she does get irritated when she is asked if she is an underrated actor.
The actor who was most recently seen in Padmaavat earlier this year said it does hurt to be called an underrated actor but her mother helped her through it and said she shouldn’t take it to heart. Instead, she says that it is good people think she has a lot to give and she is a ‘lambi race ka ghoda’ whose time will not be over any sooner than expected. She also went on to say that people who are calling the shots in the industry are not the ones who are helping her with her career and so she will fumble around till she finds the right footing and she has in the last few years.
However, she goes on to say that it is hard work that keeps her going but it is a struggle to get the kind of work she wants to do but it also takes patience and she is ready for it. Interestingly, Aditi also went on to say that she would want to work with Mani Ratnam in all her films but she would also want to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bharadwaj and Anurag Kashyap among others.
