American singer Frank Sinatra’s first of four wives Nancy Sinatra passed away at her home in Beverly Hills, California on Friday. It was daughter Nancy Junior who tweeted about the death of her mother earlier today, confirmed the death. Nancy Senior met Frank in 1934, and quickly got engaged but eventually married in 1939 and has three children with the singer, who was also an actor and producer.

According to several media reports, Frank Sinatra and Nancy’s marriage lasted for a long time even after she was granted a legal separation from him in 1950 for allegedly mental cruelty. Nancy had said that Frank used to disappear for weekends and have many extra-marital affairs. However, they stayed close to each other until his death in 1998 but Nancy never remarried and lived a quiet life in her home.

Frank and Nancy's three children are Nancy Junior, who is famed for the song These Boots Were Made For Walkin' and Frank Junior who also pursued a career in music and died in 2016 aged 72, and Tina.
