Here is why Ranveer Singh is attached to his upcoming movie Gully Boy
Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has been busy shooting for his upcoming movie Gully Boy and while he has been working hard on the character, he revealed his fondness for the movie. One of the many reasons is because the movie is based in Mumbai, where he was born and brought up.
The Padmaavat actor went on to add that the movie portrayed Mumbai for how it really is and so he considers the script to be very close to his heart. The film is about an underprivileged child who against all odds, achieves his dream to be a recording artist.
The movie has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and is set to release on February 14, 2019. Ranveer Singh will now be getting ready to start shooting for Rohit Shetty's Simmba. This will be the actor's first time working with Rohit Shetty. Simmba is scheduled to hit the cinemas on December 28, 2018.
The Bollywood heartthrob made his debut with the Hindi movie Band Baaja Baraat, which released in 2010, and received rave reviews. He recently starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavaat, which was well received at the box office.
