Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal recently appeared in the thriller film Raazi alongside Alia Bhatt. In a recent interaction with the media, he spoke about why he took his role as Pakistani Army officer in the movie very seriously. The 29-year-old felt responsible for his role because it is based on the experiences of real people and is a true story.
The movie is based on the book Calling Sehmat written by Harinder Sikka, but the actor decided not to read the novel so he could focus on the script of the movie instead.
The Zubaan actor talks about the movie and how director Meghna Gulzar did a good job of making a good plot for the movie without losing the essence of the book. He also talks about how he had no qualms about playing a Pakistani character.
