While fans of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are eagerly waiting for a sneak-peek into the wedding festivities, the Cocktail actress’ sister, Anisha Padukone, shared her excitement through her Instagram. Anisha changed her bio to ‘#ladkiwale’ with a bride emoticon.
The wedding festivities of the couple began on Monday with haldi, followed by mehendi and sangeet on Tuesday. According to reports, the first of the two-part ceremony is believed to be done with Deepika’s Konkani traditions in Villa del Balbianello in the Italian town. The second ceremony will be from Ranveer Singh’s side as it will be an Anand Karaj ceremony, held in the Sikh tradition.
Reportedly, Ranveer and Deepika’s invitations have QR codes and guests will have to scan them before entering the ceremony. Although the couple never openly admitted to dating each other, Deepika revealed on Koffee With Karan Season 6 that she had been dating Ranveer Singh for the last six years.
