Newly-wed couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arrived in Bengaluru (the former’s hometown) on Tuesday, to host the first of their two receptions post their wedding in Italy.
According to reports by a leading magazine, the couple’s Bengaluru reception will be held at the Leela Palace. The guest list is expected to include mostly Deepika’s side of the family along with her father and badminton star Prakash Padukone’s friends. Deepika’s mother, Ujjala, has been reportedly overseeing the arrangements for food, which will be mostly south Indian.
Reportedly, Deepika and Ranveer will be wearing Sabyasachi outfits. The couple tied the knot in both Konkani and Sikh traditions in Lake Como, Italy last week. A second reception will be held in Mumbai on November 28, and yet another party will be hosted by the star couple early in December, as per reports.
