Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has been fearless ever since the release of her film Manikarnika and even accused Alia Bhatt among others for not supporting her. However, after a recent poll conducted by an entertainment portal, saw her win the best film over Alia, the actor has hit back at Alia again. The Queen actress said she is embarrassed that her performance was even compared to Alia Bhatt’s in Gully Boy

In response to her poll, Kangana said there is nothing to beat in the Alia’s Gully Boy performance because it is the same snappy ‘muh-phat’ girl. She said the film is Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, women empowerment and good acting and the media has taken their love for film kids a little too far. Kangana said people should stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised for anybody in the film industry. Interestingly, both Manikarnika and Gully Boy received critical acclaim and the actors’ performances in them. While Manikarnika is based on the freedom fighter Rani of Jhansi, Gully Boy revolves around the street rappers of Mumbai.

Earlier, Alia had said that she too has some things to say to Kangana but she will not as it because her father, Mahesh Bhatt said that a lot of people have opinions but that doesn’t mean they have to say it all the time. Her response came after Kangana told her to grow some spine and support films about women empowerment and nationalism because it is her responsibility as an actor to take a stand.
