Kangana Ranaut has been quite busy with the controversy surrounding Manikarnika before and after its release, while earlier it was the Karni Sena, she has now accused Bollywood of not supporting her. The actress while slamming the film industry, took a dig at Alia Bhatt and said that the Raazi actor had called her and told her to watch the film and she did but when Kangana called her for the preview, she did not respond.

However, Alia immediately responded saying that she hopes Kangana does not dislike her and she knows she won’t, however, she hasn’t done anything intentionally to upset her. The actor went on to add that if she has, then she will apologise to her personally, because she has admired her a lot as an actor and person. Alia complimenting Kangana said she is very outspoken and it takes a lot of courage to be like her but she wasn’t aware of any problem like the way Kangana said it to be.

Earlier, Kangana said that Bollywood is against her after she accused the film of nepotism, however, she went on to add that she is not afraid and is not going to spare anybody. The Queen actor said she did reach out to Alia and asked her how Manikarnika is a personal controversy, when the whole nation is talking about it and Bollywood is the only one keeping quiet about it. She also reportedly told Alia that she should grow some spine and support an important film about woman empowerment and nationalism. However, she went a step further and said that if Alia does not have a voice and her existence is all about being Karan Johar’s puppet, then Kangana definitely does not consider her successful.

While Kangana’s Manikarnika released successfully, the actor’s tirade did not end there as she said if Alia is only focused on earning big bucks and not raising her voice, then her success is no value. Unlike the ‘nepotism gang’ who are all about giving and taking favours, she should rise above all of that. On the film front, Alia Bhatt is busy shooting for Karan Johar’s Takht, which also stars Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor among others.
