SEE PICTURES: Soundarya Rajinikanth and Vishagan Vanangamudi hold pre-wedding reception ahead of marriage on February 11

While Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth is set to tie the knot with partner Vishagan Vanangamudi on February 11, the couple had a pre-wedding reception earlier today. The celebrations started early and saw people from all over the country as well as fans showering their blessings and wishes for the couple, both of whom are getting married for the second time. 

Soundarya is seen wearing a blue and gold sari as Vishagan is seen wearing a shimmering gold silk shirt and veshti, specially worn for the occasion, as both of them put garlands on each other. Rajinikanth, is seen sporting a white kurta as he stands by Vishagan’s side greeting guests at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai. Earlier this week, Soundarya had shared a picture on Twitter with the hashtag #BrideModeOn. Her mother, Latha, has requested for police protection for the reception which is set to take place on February 12 at their residence in Poes Garden. 

Soundarya, director of films like Kochadaiiyaan and VIP 2, was previously married to Chennai-based industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar, however, the couple split in 2016. The couple were married for eight years and have a son Ved Krishna. Vishagan made his film debut in 2018 with the film Vanjagar Ulagam.
