Alia Bhatt made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year and she has never looked back ever since and even produced hits like Highway and Raazi, among others. The actor who will be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming film Takht, recently in an interview said that she accepted the film as soon as he told her about it without her even knowing what the film was all about.
Alia said Karan called her one day and said, “Listen, I am making on a film and you have to be a part of it.” and she immediately agreed. The Gully Boy actress said she only asked him about her role in the film recently when they were in Bulgaria. However, she went on to add that that is something she will do only with Karan Johar because he is somebody who she will blindly work with. The actress said even if she is currently working on something, she will drop it to work with Karan because that is how much she loves and owes him.
Interestingly, Takht has a star cast of Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor too. While Vicky will play Emperor Aurangzeb, Alia will play the lead opposite him as Janhvi Kapoor romances Ranveer Singh.
