I won’t apologise, have done nothing wrong: Kangana Ranaut responds to Karni Sena’s threats

Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will release on January 25, however, the actress is not backing out even though she has received several threats from the Karni Sena. After Kangana reacted to their earlier threat, the fringe group reacted saying that if she did not listen to them, they would burn down her film sets and even ruin her career prospects. The actress has said she will not apologise for anything because she has done nothing wrong.

At a recent interview, Kangana said the makers have assured the Karni Sena that there is nothing offensive with the film and they should instead support them and the film, ahead of its release. She went on to add that Rani Laxmibai is India’s daughter and she is not the actor’s relative, because she is the same for everyone. The actress added that there is no need to bring in the ego issues because she is definitely not going to apologise to anybody. However, the Karni Sena does not seem to be backing out of proving their point. Earlier, the Maharashtra wing of Karni Sena said that if the image of Rani Laxmi Bai is maligned in the film or if she is shown to be the lover of some Britisher then the makers will face consequences.

However, Kangana immediately responded saying that she will not stop at anything to let the film release and said she is a Rajput and will destroy each and every one of them (Karni Sena). The Queen actor said the film has been certified by four historians and has even got a censor certificate and even after conveying it to the Karni Sena, they have been harassing her.
