A lot of celebrities often wear copies of outfits by designers and there are not many people except fans who really notice it. However, with the steady rise of Instagram account DietSabya, it looks like the similarities are now clearly shared for everybody to know. After recently calling out designer Anamika Khanna for copying a design, the page has now slammed television actor Divyanka Tripathi for a wearing the copy of a belt made by Sabyasachi but giving credit to somebody else.
Divyanka posted the picture earlier today with the caption which inspires followers to plan their look, which can look simple yet elegant. The caption reads, “A simple dress can enhance your elegance and classy accessories can lift up the look. Just plan how you want to look for the event and work your way around it.” However, the signature tiger motif belt which she has credited to Rimayu, a fashion accessories brand has actually been copied from the iconic Sabyasachi design, which was reportedly first worn by Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.
However, Diet Sabya immediately points out that while many people would say that the actor should not be blamed, it is actually the actor’s fault for not known the popular belt and still wearing it around while giving credit to another brand for it. The caption read, “Guts on a Sunday afternoon… Y’all will often tell us not to blame the celebrity, but you’ve to live under a giant rock to not know that this is an iconic @sabyasachiofficial belt. NO excuses!!” However, many of Divyanka’s fans have come out to support her and said it isn’t really her fault.
