After Anushka Sharma, actor Deepika Padukone unveiled her wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds museum in London.

The Padmaavat star went live on her social media account, as she visited the museum, giving us a closer look of her statute. She was accompanied by her husband and actor Ranveer Singh, mother Ujjala and Prakash Padukone. Ranveer is seen awestruck by the wax figure of his lady love. “Can I take her home,” he asked.

Her wax statue is straight out of the cape lehenga that she wore for IIFA Awards in 2016 - a champagne-coloured Sabyasachi Mukherjee outfit with diamond and emerald necklace.

Earlier Indian celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit Nene have had Madame Tussaud's statues.
