Bollywood star Anushka Sharma gave fans a peek into her Children’s Day celebrations for her daughter, Vamika, which included laughter, joy, and a wholesome bowl of millet noodles.
Anushka shared a picture on Instagram featuring a bowl of noodles, accompanied by two charming forks with animal designs. Captioning the post, she wrote: “Children's day menu smiles, giggles, and millet noodles.”
Millets are nutrient-dense, gluten-free grains packed with dietary fiber, calcium, iron, and phosphorus, and have been a staple for nearly 7,000 years, supporting the growth of multi-crop agriculture.
Anushka, who is married to cricketer Virat Kohli, welcomed Vamika in 2021, and the couple celebrated the arrival of their second child, son Akaay, in 2024.
Recently, the pair was spotted reliving childhood memories at a Mumbai café, where they posed with the staff. Anushka captioned the Instagram post, “Benne-fic full childhood memories revived macha,” while the café added a humorous twist, photoshopping a missing team member into the photo.
On the work front, Anushka will soon portray Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the biopic Chakda Xpress, directed by Prosit Roy and produced by her brother, Karnesh Sharma. The film marks Anushka’s first lead role since her appearance in Zero (2018) alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
