Sharvari Wagh kickstarts Ganesh Chaturthi celebration; brings ‘Gauri’ home

Bollywood diva Sharvari, who has recently returned home after the shoot of her upcoming movie Alpha, has shared a glimpse of Gauri pooja ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Friday, Sharvari shared a monochrome picture in which she gave a glimpse of the Gauri pooja. The diva, however, has not given any caption to the image. Check it out:

Gauri is considered an incarnation of Goddess Parvati, the mother of Lord Ganesha. However, in Maharashtra, she is revered as Ganesha's sister who visits him. Her arrival, like that of her brother, symbolises blessings of health, wealth, happiness and prosperity.

Meanwhile, the first female-led film in the spy universe Alpha stars Sharvari alongside Alia Bhatt. In the film, both Alia and Sharvari play super-agents, and it looks like producer Aditya Chopra is presenting them as the Alpha girls of the pack in the spy universe.

Aditya is leaving no stone unturned to make the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film into an action spectacle. Alpha is being directed by Shiv Rawail of the blockbuster global streaming series The Railway Men that was released on Netflix, a few months back. Notably, all the previous films of the spyverse, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaa and Tiger 3 have been blockbusters.
