Rohan Sen's debut film starring Joy Sengupta and Bibriti Chatterjee is set for a February release
One of the youngest filmmakers in town, KFTI student Rohan Sen is all set to make his first full-length feature at the age of 19 years.
His directorial debut film, Ebhabei Galpo Hok will see Rupanjana Mitra, Joy Sengupta, Bibriti Chatterjee, Shantilal Mukherjee and Ananda S Choudhuri among others.
Talented actor Joy Sengupta, who gave a stellar performance in Indrasis Acharya's Biloo Rakkhash will play a film director in this movie, who is searching for a good story for his next feature film. Since both of his last films flopped at the box office. Joy's character is searching for some good content that will connect with the audience. He narrates a story to his friend cum and executive producer Anjan, played by Shantilal Mukherjee and the story proceeds like a cinema where Laboni (Bibriti Chatterjee) and Sidhhartha (Ananda S Choudhuri) are a couple who are much in love.
Suddenly the filmmaker sees a novel by a writer which has the same storyline and finds out that Sidhhartha (Ananda S Choudhuri) has written the same.
The story somehow reminds him of his wife (Rupanjana Mitra) and how things went wrong between them. He decides to make the movie and dedicate the same to his wife and the movie becomes a box office hit.
Produced by Amrita De of Kichukhan Entertainment, the music is being composed by Rajdeep Ganguly. The shoot has just wrapped up and the film is geared for a February release next year.
