A new teaser of the Vicky Kaushal starrer, Uri, the first big production from Bollywood in 2019, was released yesterday.
The innovative teaser also puts one of its leading ladies, Yami Gautam in the spot light. The actress shared the one minute long video on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Movements so swift and actions so stealthy, that their attack will go unnoticed, this is Indian Army's art of subtle deception:http://bit.ly/URI-
The video opens with Yami addressing a press meet and a journalist asks her about her role in the film. The actress confirms that she is not playing a soldier in this action drama. Next someone asks her if she would want to share any message for the soldiers and she replies, "We and the whole country is very proud of you. We are here because of you."
Lastly, when someone questions her if she even knows what a surgical strike is, Yami replies, "Yes, I know it. It's when someone strikes and you don't even realise it just like how the soldiers have taken position." Just as she replies, actors who had taken position behind her and looked like they were part of the backdrop image, move and walk forward, led by Vicky Kaushal.
All of them are dressed in the army uniform and come forward to stand next to Yami who concludes by saying, "These soldiers took position and you guys didn't even notice it."
