According to reports from international news websites, reality TV shows have banned Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle’s relatives from appearing on them over fears that they would make anti-royal remarks.

The Duchess' family will not be allowed on shows such as I’m a Celebrity, Strictly, or Dancing on Ice after ITV and BBC agreed that the shows could embarrass the royal family, a network source reportedly revealed.

This news was followed by another, which said that Meghan's half-sister, Samantha, was tipped to appear on Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5.

A source with close links to ITV and BBC reportedly told the media that the broadcasters think it might be bad taste to cash-in on the Markles. Speaking about it to the media, the source added, “The Markles have not been shy about talking about their famous family member. The BBC does not want to host someone on Strictly who would be so anti the Royal Family. And ITV’s top brass feel they would not give a voice to these people.”
