The launch of fidget spinner not only took the world on a spin, it also made anyone including the young and the old alike momentarily forget their cellphones and take notice of the simplistic wonders of the little round thing with lightning speed. The product became a collectors’ item and kids and older generation alike took pride in owning more than one.
While we were busy fidgeting with the spinner, there was one Jason Burns who looked at the fidget spinner with a different lens. He thought the product would be apt for those with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) condition, given that they always need something to fidget with. Burns customized the product for all those with the ADHD condition, to burn out the extra energy and restlessness and help concentrate. He named it ‘Fidgetland’, made it compact and easy to use.
Jason Burns, now the CEO/Founder of ‘Fidgetland’ has a personal connect with the ADHD condition. Having gone through this daunting experience, he knows exactly what goes on in the minds of the person living with the condition. With the help of a specialist doctor, Jason managed to complete graduation from the University of Arizona with a job in the entertainment industry. But his struggle to burn off the excess energy had to be still dealt with. In 2007, he decided to create an item to help him rid of his restlessness. Little did Jason know that the product he invented for himself will one day become a worldwide phenomenon.
The product received tremendous support from parents with children who have various learning disabilities. These fidgets helped kids focus, improving grades, stop biting of nails and even adults to quit smoking. Jason got inspired and created www.fidgetland.com with the sole purpose of helping people, people who need to fidget for whatever reason.

Jason managed to snap an investment of $50K from Barbara Corcoran for 20% Stake in his company Fidgetland.
