Dynasties, David Attenborough’s latest landmark for Sony BBC Earth, follows the remarkable stories of five of the world’s most celebrated, yet endangered animals. Bringing a bold, new level of real-life drama to the natural history genre, the series will reveal the complexities of power, rivalry and tenderness in animal relationships -  much like the family dynasties in Game of Thrones®! The parallels are eerily similar, with animalistic and primal behaviour in death, procreation and combat, along with a constant usurping of family hierarchy seen in both dramas.

Sony BBC Earth has reimagined the iconic Game of Thrones® map - familiar to fans around the world as the title sequence before each episode plays out - to reflect the animal families in Dynasties. Projected onto a concave earth, the reimagined map is brought to life, unfolding the animal kingdoms and key characters within them. Locations from where each episode of the new natural history series is set can also be seen in this quirky visual, all with Game of Thrones series music accompanying!
