Aarohi, a Kathak dancer is born in the rich tradition of the Lucknow Gharana. A cheerful, innocent and fiery dancer, Aarohi falls in love with Inderjeet, also a Kathak dancer. But, life takes a turn when she marries him and finds herself distorted by his vile ways. Torn between the deception by the man she loved and the guilt of allowing him to bring down the one thing that she loved the most - her dance, the play features Aarohi at a crossroad where she has to decide between living in fear or facing the skeletons of her past. Over the course of the play, Aarohi will realise that free will is a gift and she has to use it but not until she fights for it.

Written by National award-winning screenplay writer Ashok Mishra and directed by noted theatre director Salim Akhtar, the new production also marks the theatrical debut of Dhaani Jhankal, daughter of noted actor Ravi Jhankal, and tv actor Gautam Rode. It also features seasoned actor Meeta Vasisht and Ravi Jhankal.
