Suisse Lifestyle is a new kid in the fashion block. Full of new ideas, the premium lifestyle store located near New Market, is helmed by a young Priyanka Ailani. The 23-year-old couturier, a B.Com graduate is aiming to make a mark in the industry with traditional as well as trendy silhouettes.
Launched by Tollywood actors Paoli Dam and Ishaa Saha, the 2250 sq ft store houses stunning collection of ethnic wear. Priyanka who is taking forward the family legacy in the business wants Suisse to be synonymous with affordability and comfort. “Generally premium handlooms like ikkat, Benerasi and Kanjivaram are very expensive, making it out of reach for the common people. I want to bridge the gap and bring the best of handlooms at an affordable price,” says Priyanka who informs that the store has festive as well as regular wear for women. While office goers can pick up kurtis in soft fabrics, those looking for festive or occasion wear can opt for saris, salwar kamiz, lehenga and more. There is also ready to wear sarees which Priyanka believes will be a rage this season. Fine zardosi work marks the edit at Suisse and the fine craftsmanship is worth appreciating. The young designer is currently working on Pakhi linen saree and very soon it will be there in the collection.
